Genesis of Jewish Museum in Munich goes back to the year 1928 when a group of persons interested in Jewish history and culture made a sincere effort to create a Jewish museum in Munich. The museum did not make much head way until almost two decades when it was revived by Hans Lamm, longtime head of the Jewish community. The Munich Residenz

Residence of the dukes and kings is on the edge of the old town of Munich. It was the permanent seat of the Wittelsbach royal line until 1918. The Munich Residence was the center of political and cultural power from 1623 to 1918. Each ruler has upgraded the residence according to their ideas and interests.
